At least twelve women and children lost their live on Saturday in stampede to receive cash and clothes aid from government in Northeast of Nigeria.
Hundreds of displaced individuals rushed for the government aid distribution were five women we stepped on and couldn’t handle the pressure .
A source said 12 bodies of women and children were found laying lifeless on the ground and seven others seriously injured.
These women were amongst thousands of individuals gathered at a Primary school to receive 5000 nairas (13 Dollars) and clothes supplied by Governor of the state.
