Ghana lifts lockdown regardless increasing cases of Coronavirus

Ghanaian President has relieved the people of his country after he lifted the national lockdown on Sunday.

Ghana lifted the lockdown regardless of passing the 1000 mark of ever increasing Corona cases.

Ghana has become the first African country not to extend its lockdown. After Rwanda South Africa Uganda and Zimbabwe extended their lockdowns.

The government of Ghana however warned that in the coming days or weeks lockdown will be imposed on most affected regions which have been detected as hotspots of the virus.

Ghana as so far managed to trace 86 000 contacts and tested 68500 with 1042 confirmed cases 930 people recovering from their homes and government facilities.
