Fuel prices drop sharply

At least some good news for South Africans they are set to buy fuel at dropped price in this month of May.

The retail price of petrol has dropped by 12.5% with effect from 6 May while the wholesale diesel price drops by 12.7%.

This movement was announced by the energy department last night.

Petrol will drop by 174cents meaning the new cost will be R12.22 per litre and diesel drops by 161 cents a litre costing R11.08
