A total number of 115 people were arrested on Monday for not wearing face masks in public, The chronicle reports.
Zimbabwe which eased lockdown restrictions on effective from 04 May allowed citizens to carry on with some of their day to day lives but must wear facemasks in public places all the time.
Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Abednico Ncube said 115 people were arrested in the city for disobeying level two lockdown regulations, he said the majority were those not wearing facemasks.
Facemasks are now a mandatory globally in the fight against Coronavirus. For those who can’t afford to buy masks they are advised to use homemade face masks as they are also recommended and declared to be safe nd protective in the fight against Coronavirus.
