The President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa has just let down the expectations of many South Africans.

After so much pressure mounting on the President to address and update his nation Ramaphosa had to just go on national television to deliver a speech without any weight.

All what he did was to state the obvious and information that was already in the public domain.

His speech was full of daily updates on the cases of Coronavirus and deaths and how people should protect themselves. This information was already relayed to the public Health Minister Zweli Mkhize.

The only new thing the President said was how he expects all countries to be on lockdown level 3 by end of May.

As many South Africans would have expected a further relaxation of the national lockdown level 4 today, the president did not say anything in that regard.

Already twitter was had #level3 trending today it seems they will have to take that back.

Ramaphosa promised to update the country further in the next few day.
