
Zimbabwe has just experienced the highest jump of positive numbers of Covid-19.
76 new cases have been recorded in the southern african country.
Cases have gone to a total of 132.
The development was announced by the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Senator Monica Mutsvangwa during a post-cabinet media briefing.
Most of the recorded cases are from returnees who came from South Africa and Botswana.
Zimbabwe's #Covid19 positive cases have now spiked to 132. The 76 new cases have been recorded in the Beitbridge, Masvingo and Harare. All new cases except one have been registered among returnees from mainly SA and Botswana. Only one case is a local transmission.

Reports also have it that 19 people have escaped from quarantine centers which have been criticized to be running under poor conditions.
