After a career spanning over three decades, WWE wrestling star – The Undertaker has finally thrown the towel into the ring -literally- after hinting he had “no desire to get back in the ring” on a documentary published recently.

However, neither he nor the WWE has officially announced on his retirement from the entertainment industry.

The Undertaker, real name Mark Calaway or popularly known as The Dead Man has been a phenomenal and indispensable part of many’s childhoods.

As expected, social media is awash with nostalgic, grief-filled messages, condolences and wishes of good luck for the legend.

Through his character, mystique, and talent, he made a legend out of himself in his career that has lasted for over 30 years.

He managed to hide the real man behind the mysterious character – which is something phenomenal about him.

He has his last match with AJ Styles last night, which ended up with him performing his iconic move, burying his opponent and riding away on a motorcycle.

AJ Styles has since penned down an emotional message in honour of the Taker’s choice to wrestle him on his last WWE finale.

Here are some tributes poured in by The Undertaker’s fans on the microblogging site, Twitter.

We wish The Undertaker a very happy retirement and thank him for all the beautiful memories over the years.
