Barely a month into office the new President of Malawi is facing his first protest after he appointed his family members and relatives into office.
President Lazarus Chakwera appointed his inlaws and family as ministers to his cabinet.
This move did not seat well with most Malawians as they have already planned a protest scheduled for tomorrow (10 July).
Malawi social media was flooded with posts and posters in protest against this decision by the President.
The planned march demands that they must be a change of the cabinet and a change in all doings of the country.
President Chakwera came into power after he contested a rigged election against Peter Mutarika.
The courts nullified the one lections which were held last years and a rerun dated for 28 June saw Chakwera wining the polls with more than 58% .
