Hard lockdown for Bulawayo and Harare ahead of mass Protest?

The secretary of the Ministry of Broadcasting and Information services Nick Mangwana hinted that due to rise of Covid-19 cases in the country places like Harare and Bulawayo might have to go back to hard lockdown.

As much as this comes after Zimbabwe has witness a record breaking rise in Coronavirus cases it has left many people puzzled as wether this is a sincere Covid-19 measurement or a political move.

Zimbabwe is currently getting ready for a mass protest scheduled for 31 July.

The protest is against misgovernance of the country which has seen a rise in Corruption cases which have not been attended to by the President.

Bulawayo and Harare are Zimbabwe’s two biggest cities where most relevant political activities.
