Former Airforce Marshall and 5th Brigade commander died alone in the early morning hours of Wednesday.
He was driving seeking help at Hospitals, reports have it that he was alone at the time and he called his close friends to come to his help however when Norton MP Themba Mlisa arrived he had already died.
Shiri is known for killing thousands of Ndebele speaking people in Matebeland during the 1983 Gukurahundi genocide.
The butcher of Bhalagwe is dead! Whatever manner or cause of his death, it was better than that he subjected 1000s of pple in Matabeleland to.I do not wish him peace.I pray he's met his victims on his way to hell's halfway house. Other fellow butchers will follow.Death equalises. https://t.co/U9EGqPqTZm

Some Ndebele people have shown signs of happiness that after he slaughtered their tribes men Coronavirus has finally served the long awaited justice.
However some feel like he just got away with murder as he was possed to stand trial and endure a slow painful death.
Shiri, who was not married, died alone in his vehicle in the early hours of Wednesday while trying to drive himself to a private hospital nearby, ZimLive understands.
He called two trusted friends – Norton MP Temba Mliswa and his ministry’s permanent secretary John Bhasera – to come to his assistance, but he was dead by the time they arrived.
