The MatebeleLand province chairman of the MDC ALLIANCE Prince Dubeko Sibanda has claimed that some members of the police and the Prisons and correctional services have requested for #ZanuPfMustGo face masks.

Posting on his twitter account he said, “I have received requests for face masks inscribed #ZanupfMustGo from members of @PoliceZimbabwe , prisons & correctional services officers, prosecutors and other civil servants during my persecution today. Anyone who has these, please DM.”

Sibanda was later arrested but granted bail. After his bail hearing he said, “Revolutionary gratitude to all of you who were in solidarity with me in what I went through. As I got bail my cry is #FreeHopewell #FreeJacobNgarivhume #FreeJobSikhala . The message I bring is that prison officers, police officers, prosecutors & all want masks #ZanupfMustGo”

This comes after he was allegedly called into questioning by the CID law and order in Bulawayo for giving two PicknPay employees face masks labeled Zanu PF Must Go.

The opposition provincial leader has been raising alarm of fear of his life on tweeter saying he feel terrified to be questioned for being an opposition leader.

He gave a comparison to other political leaders who have been through the same process some were never to be seen again while some came back in bad shape.

He said, “It’s so scary to pass through the corridors that @TeeMuchehiwa & other fellow citizens have gone through to be seen or never to be seen again. It’s frightening to appear before a court when many others are coming to prove their right to be granted bail. It’s not good experience”
