BREAKING: Ngarivhume granted bail
Transform Zimbabwe leader Jacob Ngarivhume who has been in remand for the past 43 days has been granted bail by High Court judge Justice Musithu.
Ngarivhume was arrested together with Hopewell Chin’ono ahead of the ‘flopped’ July 31 protests charged with inciting public violence.
There was widespread condemnation of his arrest, particularly Hopewell Chin’ono who is still incarcerated.
Government has been accused of infringing on the rights of people and some opposition elements have claimed Zimbabwe is in a crisis, an accusation government has denied attributing such to planned regime change.
There have been reports that Hopewell Chin’ono has been exposed to covid-19 and that he has developed symptoms, a claim the government again denied.-
