Former PSL star found mad in the streets after missing for weeks.Sports people entertain us when they do what they get paid for, but what they go through behind the scenes is not really understood by the public.

Any issue that has to do with an athlete’s health is usually subjected by people to only that of physical, forgetting that the mind also plays a critical role. Issues of mental health have for long been underestimated, especially depression both during and after their high-paying careers.

One former Mamelodi Sundowns footballer Khayelihle Shozi was weeks ago announced to have been missing and his family was asking for people to help them locate him.

Celebrities also chipped in and have been spreading the same information with hopes to find him.
Sundowns co-coach Rulani Mokwena also took part in that initiative to find him and one Twitter user responded to his post saying: “He was spotted in Richards Bay Coach.”

People were and are still very much saddened by what Shozi has been facing as this started soon after his tenure with Sundowns ended.
Other people claimed that once his contract with Sundowns was finished he started going through some tough situations and failed to adjust accordingly.

This was a direct mental reaction which led to the former player’s depression, as explained by some people. His situation is just a tip of an iceberg to this issue of mental health which needs to be addressed. This condition isn’t only for the poor, but also for the rich and people ought to be taught on it.
