Black Motion finally speaks out on Splitting

“We are ONE,” Black Motion rubbishes split rumours

Rumors Black Motion had split made rounds on social media and created a stir on social media. According to Musa Khawula, the two have been doing gigs as solo artists. However, to make matters worse, Murdah Bongz has rebranded his name to Mordä.

Social media was shocked by the backdrop of the daring news that flooded social media. Black Motion is one of the successful duo in Mzansi that has stood the test of time.

Murdah Bongz tried to settle the dust when one of their fans asked him if he was indeed leaving the group and said “no”.

However, his response seemed to have fueled the daring allegations and made people speculate even more. Apparently, the duo were due to perform at an event in New York but cancelled, and then Thabo went on to play on his own in one of the gigs without Bongani Mohasana.

Spirit Motion addressed these rumours in a statement that has gone viral on social media.

The statement clarified to fans that Murdah Bongz had just rebranded himself to Mordå as preparation to launch his career as a solo DJ but remains part of the group.

It also addressed the matter before Smol, who is venturing into other business aspects. Those aspects would also be addressed once the group has solidified.

The duo claimed that the rumours were untrue and damaging. Black Motion comprises Bongani (Murdah Bongz) Mohasana, a producer/DJ and percussionist Thabo (Smol) Mabongwane.

The group made all sorts of headlines back in 2010 when they released their debut album Talking to the drum. No doubt the group has since lost its flair of late and seems to fall from glory.

Now Murdahbongz is married to DJ Zinhle and seems to be switching the follow to Disck Jocking. And fans have it that Zinhle might be the reason behind the rumoured split. Here are some of the tweets that flooded social media:
