She came from a family that believed education was the key to the good life. To be a trophy daughter to her parents, she excels in her studies and proceeds to tertiary education, becoming a graduate.

Pearl Monama did all her education in Afrikaans schools. She did her primary school at Witbank’s Laerskool Kragbron and then her matruc at Hoërskool Brandwag in Benoni and she passed her matric with good grades.

After passing her matric, Pearl registered for her tertiary education at the University of Pretoria. She graduated with an honours degree in Film and Drama Studies.
