Thabo Mkhabela , the only man who takes a girl out and asks her to pay half the bill, real-life’s occupation shocks Mzansi. His role in Skeem Saam has made him famous due to his phenomenal acting skills.

He plays the role of Leshole, an unlucky young man who struggles to make ends meet and has never had anything good coming his way.

Thabo’s job at Tshwane university is to plan and deliver teaching on their specialist subject to university students.

This includes creating teaching materials, preparing for tutorials or seminars and marking students’ work, as well as direct teaching.

Thabo Mkhabela is not a flamboyant personality who flaunts his lifestyle on social media, but he is rich. He is a lecturer who humbled himself by portraying a role of a low-life student followed by misfortunes.
