Naledi Aphiwe performing with Chris Brown in Mzansi
Naledi Aphiwe to headline S.A show with Chris Brown
South African social media has been buzzing with excitement and mixed emotions after international musician Chris Brown announced he’ll be coming to Mzansi on the 14th of December this year.
Breezy will perform at Africa’s biggest stadium by capacity in Johannesburg at the FNB Stadium, also known as soccer city on the 14th of December.
Most local stars such as Sir Trill are eyeing for an opportunity to open up for the singer. Trill made his intentions to open up for Breezy clear, and this sparked controversy on social media.
Entertainment commentator Musa Khawula, however, made it clear that the most obvious choice to open for Chris Brown will be young songstress Naledi Aphiwe, who already has a song together with Breezy
Aphiwe, who hails from KWAZULU-NATAL, rose to fame after she caught the attention of Chris Brown with her melodic angelic voice to a point that Breezy had to sample her song in one of his songs.
“With Chris Brown announcing that he’ll be performing at the FNB Stadium on the 14th of December 2024, Sir Trill is asking to be his opening act as if everyone doesn’t know that’s Naledi Myongwane’d gig,” wrote Musa Khawula on X.
This sparked debate as many users supported that Naledi should be the opening act whilst some claimed Trill is more mature and has better musical experience. Hence, he deserves the chance.
Meanwhile, tickets are not yet out, and the lineup is not yet released. Everything is still based on speculation.
