When a couple divorces in South Africa, the wealthier and more financially stable partner is expected to pay child maintenance. Black Coffee, who is wealthier than Enhle Mbali, is said to pay R50,000 per month in child support to his ex-wife.
After a fan inquired on her Instagram feed about how much she was paid for child maintenance, Enhle Mbali confirmed the monthly payment by Black Coffee, which she revealed (R50k).

Black Coffee and Enhle Mbali were married in 2011 and have two children. The couple divorced in July 2019, following the online revelation of Black Coffee’s infidelity.
Divorce proceedings began later that year, and the couple divorced in 2020. Both people have been involved in a number of controversies since then.
Social media users are both surprised and concerned about the figure, with some claiming it is far too high, and that Enhle is “milking” her ex-husband of his money despite having supported him throughout his hustle.
“That’s why I don’t want any baby Mama drama in my life. 50k is too much she will not work for her whole life she will be partying with my child’s money, never …
R50k while school fees and other things are taken care of?. That’s a lot of money.
