Actor Zolisa Xaluva fired from Smoke & Mirrors

Renowned South African actor Zolisa Xaluva returned to our television screen as a cutthroat businessman in the new TV drama Smoke & Mirrors a few months ago.

Xaluva plays the role of Caesar, a ruthless businessman. In this short period of time, entertainment commentator Phil Mphela revealed that the actor has been fired from the soap opera.Nothing concrete yet reveals why the actor has been fired.

The role of ruthless businessman, Caesar, will likely be recast.

The actor is also known for the soap opera Gomora, which was cancelled in October 2023. Zolisa Xaluva played the role of no-nonsense headmaster in Mzansi Magic’s Gomora. He left the drama at the end of season 2.

Indeed, Zolisa boasts of his success in entrepreneurship. He even left Gomora on a mutual agreement to give more attention to his growing business empire, despite being one of the most paid stars of the show.

Zolisa owns Lakey Media, a talent agency based in Sandton. The company employs over 50 employees, and it deals with voice-over artists, rising actors, professional athletes, dancers, singers, musicians, and news anchors.
