Fan favourite Zolisa Xaluva is set to make a return to etv’s prime time soapie Smoke & Mirrors.
The actor who left the show at the end of Season 1 due to contractual disputes with producers is set to make a come back and assume his character of Ceaser, which was taken over by Hlomla Dandala.
Xaluva has been the favourite of fans of the show as they said he was more gangster than Dandala.
Most viewers of the show complained that Dandala did not feet well into the character of Ceaser as he was soft spoken and did not portray a real criminal which they would have loved to see.
Speaking about the comparison Dandala revealed that he wasn’t happy that people were comparing him to Xaluva
Now it has been confirmed that Dandala will not return to the show when Season 3 Premiers. He will exit the show at the end of Season 2 which is currently underway.
It has not yet been 100 percent confirmed that indeed Xaluva will be reassuming his role as Ceaser but the general rumours in showbiz corridors is that the seasoned Xhosa actor is coming back to the show.
Fans have been lobbying that producers bring back Xaluva, it is highly possible that Xaluva will indeed make his return to the show.
Xaluva’s return will definitely improve the ratings of the show.
