It’s been a couple of years since South African Houz music legend Mampintsha Maphumulo who was Babes Wodumo’s husband passed away.
The Wife of late Mampintsha, Babes Wodumo has allegedly moved on with her life now and is in a new relationship.
The Gqom singer and queen of Gqom dance has been giving her fans mixed signals as far as her relationship status is concerned.
Now she has posted a picture with another man on her IG stories. In the picture she is seen half nked and this shows that she’s very much comfortable around this mystery man.
Prior to this she posted a selfie as she was seated on the passenger seat and this mystery man was driving she captioned the picture purporting that it was time for her to get into a new relationship and be happy.
Since last year the rumor windmill had it that Babes was dating fellow musician Sabelo Zuma. She never got to address these reports.
However a few days ago during an Instagram Live, Babes refuted all these claims that she’s in a relationship. She categorically stated that relationships can wait as she’s still loyal to her late husband.
“Bayasangana (they are mad), I’m not dating him. We are friends and he is gay. I was married to Mampintsha; he was my husband; I can’t just date for the sake of dating. There are certain things I need to do and announce to my family before that,” she said.
Wodumo was recently linked to former Amaroto group member Zuma. According to a close friend who spoke to Zimoja, Zuma’s promiscuity led to an early end to the budding romance.
“It did not last,’ the friend told ZiMoja. “He had multiple girls, so that was never going to work. Babes is a loyal hun.”
Meanwhile, Babes denied dating Zuma. “He is my brother that one. People will always have something to say about me; I am used to it. I’m a star,” she bragged.
