Madvodza and other wealthy bidders enter the depot and the auction commences as they enter into a bidding war. Solomzi and Rebs arrive unexpectedly at the auction and place a bid.

Chuma and the other protesters are arrested. Nandi informs Solomzi and Rebs that Velaphi was also detained. Solomzi persuades Simelane to release Chuma, Velaphi and the other protesters.

Solomzi informs the Sokhulus that he has changed ownership of the depot to Nomsa, but their joy is short-lived when Velaphi alerts them to rush to the depot.

The Sokhulus arrive at the depot just in time to stop Chuma and they inform him that Nomsa is the new owner of the depot. Nkanyiso hires Minenhle to market his new business.

Rebs feels betrayed when she learns that Solomzi transferred ownership of the depot to Nomsa. After apologising to no avail, Solomzi decides to move out, leaving Rebs devasted.
