Reasons why Cedric ‘Lehasa’ Fourie is leaving Skeem Saam

It’s with deep sorrow and sadness that Skeem Saam viewers have to say goodbye to their most loved villain, Lehasa Maphosa.

The character of Lehasa Maphosa has grown to be one which people love to hate and at the same time hate to love. He has been a villain and a heartless businessman on the show.

However all his bad deeds did not stop people from growing fond of him and loving him.

Lehasa is sadly leaving the prime time soapie, he leaves the show as someone being sentenced to life imprisonment for murder and unlawful discharge of a fire arm.

Sources have revealed that Cedric is exiting Skeem Saam due to contractual disputes with the producers and directors of the show.

Sources close to the developments have said that Cedric has demanded a change in his storyline as it circles around the same situations with just different faces be demanded that he be altered.

However, producers were not willing to listen to him as they want to continue with how the actor has been.

Another reason for his exit from the show was that he wants to take some time off and spend time with his son and family in real life.

“They are disputes about his storyline,he wants to alter it but producers aren’t keen to listen to him. He also demanded some time off as he hasn’t spent much time with his family and son for a long time due to the demands of the show,” said the source.

Cedric has been carrying the show on his shoulders for years now as his storylines always keep viewers glued to their screens and invested to the show.

It remains unknown if Skeem Saam will replace him with another actor or they will completely write off his character from the scripts.

Many viewers of the show have threatened to boycott the drama if Lehasa is written off from the show. It is definitely to the benefit of Skeem Saam to work out whatever disputes they have with Cedric Fourie and bring him back to the screens.

It’s simple a person grows at time so Lehasa must also grow up now that he has Pretty the sweetest love of his life that is enough to change him so Cedric is right this time Lehasa must love Pretty henestly the man also has a heart the writers should just listen to him we want a Lehasa that is now building a family but no man messes with his family is that too much to ask seriously

          I actually think it would be a good idea for him to be a different man.hes been playing a bad businessman for a long time now however he catch us all fixed on the screens.

We want Mr maphosa back and the producers are going to loose viewers because the way the write things …we love lehasa and skeemsam I nothing without lehasa ….n we as viewers before we felt like skeemsam is taking the sides of the rich people I hated the show the moment I see that letetswe will win the competition and he didn’t bcz skeemsam its only one person that must grow if you are poor in that show you I’ll be poor for the rest of the show ….n skeemsam shoul learn to act fast smaki’s case took the whole two weeks …the we are tired as viewers we are looking up for something new
